Privāta CLIL bērnu valodu centra organizācijas iespējas Rīgā

Abstract

Ar katru gadu svešvalodu apguve agrīnā vecumā kļūst arvien populārāka. Iemesls tam ir fakts, ka bērns jaunākā vecumposmā ir spējīgāks ātrāk un vieglāk apgūt valodu, nekā pieaugušais. Tomēr Latvijas skolās un pirmsskolas izglītības iestādēs (PII) nav līdzekļu, lai organizēt angļu valodas nodarbības ar tik lielu intensitāti un papildus izmaksām. Darba mērķis ir izanalizēt privāto CLIL valodu centra organizācijas iespējas Rīgā. Datu savākšanas metodes ir intervijas un aptaujas. Darba uzdevumi ir noskaidrot skolu direktoru, kā arī citu izglītības speciālistu un vecāku attieksmi pret bērnu valodas apguvi un pret darbā izstrādātiem piedāvājuma galvenajām idejām. Darba secinājumi ilustrē šāda valodu centra organizācijas iespējas, pamatojoties uz dažādu cilvēku viedokļiem, likumisko bāzi un pašreizējo situāciju interešu izglītībā. Galvenie rezultāti ir: šādu valodu centru ir iespējams organizēt, piedāvājums būs pieprasīts, kā arī valodu centram ir iespēja sadarboties ar skolām un PII.

With each year language learning among children at the early age becomes more popular. The reason for that is the fact that a child at the early age can faster and easier learn languages than an adult. However, in Latvian schools and preschools there are not enough resources to organize English language classes with such high intensity and external costs. The aim of the Diploma Paper is to analyse the establishment opportunities of the private CLIL language centre in Riga. The data collection methods are interviews and questionnaires. The goal of this work is to find out the schools principals’, other teaching professionals’ and also parents’ attitude towards children language learning and towards the main ideas of the Paper’s described offer. Paper’s conclusions illustrate the establishment opportunities of such courses, based on different people’s opinion, legislative regulations and current situation in the field of the education of interest. The main conclusions are that: there is a possibility to establish such language centre, that there would be a demand for this offer and also there is a possibility of cooperation between such language centre and schools and preschools.
