Otrajā nodaļā autore apskata, kā dažādi runas attīstības virzieni ietekmē stāstītprasmi. Tiek izpētīta skaņu izrunas kultūra, kāda ir gramatiski pareizas runas attīstīšana, kā arī kādam jābūt vārdu krājumam dažādos stāstījumos. Trešajā nodaļā autore apskata, stāstījuma veidus un paņēmienus un to sekmēšanas metodiskos paņēmienus pirmsskolā, kā arī 6-7 gadu vecu bērnu stāstītprasmes attīstības kritērijus. Ceturtajā nodaļā autore veic izmēģinājuma darbību stāstītprasmes sekmēšanā un analizē iegūtos rezultātus.

Key words: oldest preschool age, storytelling skill, storytelling types and methods, experimental action. The first chapter comprises the pedagogically psychological evaluation of preschool children. The author of this work draws attention to the development of children’s memory, their perception and the way of thinking. In the second chapter, the author investigates how different ways of speech development influence the skill of storytelling. The culture of sound pronunciation is explored; also, how a grammatically correct speech is developed, and what kind of vocabulary has to be included in various types of storytelling. In the third chapter, the author examines the types and methods of storytelling, and the methodological ways to promote them in preschool as well as the criteria for developing storytelling skill of 6-7 year old children. In the fourth chapter, the author conducts an experimental action to promote storytelling skill, and the obtained results are analyzed.
