Statistikas datu bāzes ģeogrāfijas stundās vidusskolā – mācību materiālu izstrāde un aprobācija

Abstract

21. gadsimts ir nozīmīgs ar to, ka arvien lielāku lomu mūsu ikdienā ieņem dažādi informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju (IKT) rīki. Arī skola un skolas ikdiena vairs nav iedomājama bez tiem rīkiem, skolas vidē pamazām ienāk digitālās tāfeles, datori, internets, balsošanas pultis un daudzi citi informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju rīki. Diplomdarba “Statistikas datu bāzes ģeogrāfijas stundās vidusskolā – mācību materiālu izstrāde un aprobācija” ietvaros autore izstrādāja un aprobēja metodiskos materiālos darbā ar vienu no informācijas un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju rīkiem – datu bāzēm. Autore vēlējās noskaidrot, kāpēc un vai datu bāzu izmantošana ģeogrāfijas apguvē ir laba metode. Lai rastu atbildi uz šo jautājumu, diplomdarba ietvaros tika veikta arī skolēnu anketēšana. Pētījuma ietvaros tika noskaidrots, ka datu bāzu lietojums ģeogrāfijas apguvē ir laba metode, jo tā skolēniem sniedz starpdisciplināru saikni ar citiem priekšmetiem un arī sasaisti ar reālo dzīvi, kā arī attīsta skolēnos dažādas prasmes, piemēram, pētniecības prasmes, jo skolēniem ir jāprot sameklēt nepieciešamā informācija lielajā informācijas apjomā. 21st century is characterized with the fact that various tackle of information and communication technologies play great role in our lives. School is not imaginable without these tackle. Digital boards, computers, internet, polling-consoles and other tackle of information and communication technologies are used in schools. Methodological materials, how to work with one of the tackle of information and communication technology- data bases, are worked out and approbated in the diploma paper “Using statistical databases in geography for secondary schools”. The author wished to find out why and if the use of data bases is good method for learning geography. Students were surveyed to find the answer to this question. In the framework of the research it was clarified that usage of data bases in geography lessons is good method because it offers interdisciplinary link with other subjects and real life, as well as develops different skills, for instance, research skills which are important for finding necessary information.
