Abstract

Diplomdarba nosaukums: VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” finanšu situācijas izvērtējums un attīstības perspektīvas. Diplomdarba mērķis ir uz teorētisko un praktisko materiālu pamata veikt sabiedrības VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” finanšu analīzi, atspoguļot nepilnības, negatīvās un pozitīvās tendences, trūkumus un ar gūtajiem rezultātiem veikt secinājumus un izvirzīt priekšlikumus sabiedrības attīstības perspektīvām. Pirmajā daļā tiek atspoguļota transporta nozares loma Latvijas tautsaimniecībā. Otrajā daļā analizēti kravu pārvadājumi Latvijā. Trešajā daļā izpētīta VAS „Latvijas dzelzceļš” kā dažādu veidu pārvadātājs, darbības izvērtējums un finansiālā stāvokļa analīze par 2007., 2008. un 2009. gadu. Darba apjoms ir 52 lappuses, tajā ir pievienoti 2 pielikumi. Darba saturā iekļautas 15 tabulas un 19 attēli. Diplomdarba rakstīšanā sekojoši bibliogrāfiskie avoti: ekonomiskā un metodiskā literatūra, internets, statistikas dati un sabiedrības nepublicētie materiāli.

The theme of the diploma paper is: The State Joint Stock Company “Latvijas dzelzceļš” financial assessment of situation and outlook. The diploma paper aims at the financial activity of the SJSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš” on its theoretical and practical material basis. Identify reflect gaps, negative and positive trends, shortage findings of the activity results, and make conclusions of company’s development perspective. The first chapter provides the role of the transport sector in the Latvian economy. The second chapter analyzes cargo transport in Latvia. The third chapter researches the SJSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš” as a different type of carrier, the evaluation and assessment of the financial situation for 2007, 2008 and 2009 year. The amount of diploma work is 52 pages, consisting of 2 supplements. Content of work included 15 tables and 19 pictures. The bibliographical sources used in the diploma paper are methodological and economical literature, the data of internet, statistics and unpublished materials of the company.
