Ieguldījuma fondi kā finanšu instruments uzņēmumu attīstībai

Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma ir veltīta ieguldījumu fondu izpētei, kā pasaules valstīs, tā arī Latvijā, līdz ar dodot iespējas piesaistīt akciju sabiedrībām finanšu resursus, kā arī ieguldījumu fondu attīstības problēmu atklāšanai un to iespējamo risinājumu izstrādei. Diplomdarba mērķis ir atklāt ieguldījumu fondu ekonomisko saturu, kā arī izstrādāt pamatotus un praktiski nozīmīgus priekšlikumus to efektivitātes palielināšanai uz Latvijas ekonomikas procesiem. Pamatojoties uz literatūras analīzi, diplomdarbā tiek definēti ieguldījumu fondu klasifikācijas veidi. Diplomdarbā izpētīti ieguldījumu fondu evolūcijas procesi pasaules praksē, ka arī analizētas ieguldījumu fondu attīstības ekonomiskos un likumdošanas aspektus skarošās problēmas. Latvijas ieguldījumu fondu darbības īpatnību analīzes rezultātā noskaidrots, ka nepieciešams uzlabot ieguldījumu fondu darbību reglamentējošās normas. Maģistra darbā ir secināts, ka ne mazāk svarīga ir tiesiskās un profesionālās kultūras problēma, kā arī visu vērtspapīru tirgus dalībnieku un arī iedzīvotāju informētības problēma. Autors izstrādāja priekšlikumus iepriekš minēto problēmu risināšanai - ieguldījumu regulējošās likumdošanas izmaiņām, iedzīvotāju ekonomiskās izglītības trūkumu vērtspapīru tirgū, kolektīvo ieguldījumu un ieguldījumu fondu jomā. Maģistra darbs sastāv no ievada, 3 nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem. Darba apjoms ir 85 lappuses, kuras iekļauj sevī 10 attēlus un tabulas.

This graduation thesis deals with the study of investment funds both worldwide and in Latvia, the ability of such funds to increase corporate investment resources as well as with the detection of problem issues related to the development of investment funds and elaboration of possible solutions. The goal of the graduation thesis is to discover the economic substance of investment funds as well as to elaborate well-grounded and practical proposals to increase their influence on the economic processes in Latvia for the increase of efficiency. Based on the analysis of bibliographical sources, the graduation thesis defines the types of classification of investment funds. The graduation thesis studies the evolution processes of investment funds in the worldwide practice as well as analyses the problems affecting economic and legislative aspects of development of investment funds. The analysis of characteristics of operation of Latvian investment funds demonstrates that it is necessary to improve the regulatory standards of investment funds. The Master’s paper offers the conclusion that no less significant is the issue of legal and professional standards as well as the problem of awareness of all securities market participants and residents. The writer has elaborated proposals to solve the above problems: for amendments to investment regulating legislation, for the improvement of residents’ economic education on the securities market, in the field of collective investments and investment funds. The writer offers to create a compensation fund, taking as an example the US corporative compensation fund. The establishment of a compensation fund in Latvia will enable shareholders and funds investors to protect their financial interests. The Master’s thesis consists of the Introduction, 3 chapters, the conclusion and proposals. The volume of the thesis is 85 pages, and it includes 10 figures and charts.
