Valūtas tirgus un komecbanku operācijas tajā

Abstract

Diplomdarba nosaukums ir: „Valūtas tirgus un komercbanku operācijas tajā.” Šādu temata izvēli autors var pamatot ar savu interesi par komercbanku darbību un valūtas tirgū. Pasaules ekonomika nevar eksistēt bez attīstītā valūtas tirgus – oficiālā finanšu centra, kur notiek valūtas pirkšanas un pārdošanas process. Darījumu apjomu ziņa, starptautiska valūtas tirgus galvenie dalībnieki ir tieši komercbankas, bet to atkarība no operācijām šajā tirgū nepārtraukti pieaug – arvien būtiskāku daļu no saviem ieņēmumiem komercbankas veido no darījumiem valūtas tirgū. Diplomdarba mērķis, izmantojot statistiskus datus, periodiskajos izdevumos sniegto informāciju, kā arī zinātnisko literatūru par doto tēmu, izanalizēt komercbanku operācijas valūtas tirgū un ar tām saistītos riskus; uz šīs analīzes pamata izdarīt secinājumus un dot priekšlikumus komercbanku darbības uzlabošanai valūtas tirgū. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām un vairākām apakšnodaļām. Darba pirmajā nodaļa tiek apskatīti valūtas tirgus teorētiski pamati. Otrajā nodaļā autors pievērš uzmanību komercbanku operācijām valūtas tirgū un to praktiskai organizēšanai bankā. Trešajā nodaļā tiek apskatītas valūtas kursa prognozēšanas metodes. Ceturtajā nodaļā tiek apskatīts jautājums par valūtas tirgus operāciju saistīto risku ierobežošanu komercbankās. Pēc pētījuma datiem autors formulēja kopējos secinājumus, ņemot vērā izvirzītos mērķus, kā arī uz secinājumu pamata tika dotas dažas rekomendācijas un priekšlikumi. Diplomdarba apjoms ir 60 lappuses. Darba izstrādāšanai tika izmantoti 32 literatūras avoti. Darbs satur 3 tabulas un 13 attēlus. Darbam ir gan teorētiska, gan praktiska vērtība. Tas paredzēts plašam cilvēku lokam: ekonomisko fakultāšu studentiem, komercbankas darbiniekiem un citiem, kas ir ieinteresēti darbā starptautiskajā valūtas tirgū.

The title of the graduation paper is “The Money Market and The Operations of The Commercial Bank at It”. The choice of such a theme the author of the work can explain with his interest in the activity of commercial banks and money market. The world economy cannot exist without a developed money market – the official financing centre where the process of currency purchase and sale takes place. Concerning the volume of deals, the main participants of the international money market are commercial banks, but their dependence on operations on this market continuously increases – so, the main part of their income, commercial banks get from the deals made on the money market. The aim of the graduation paper is to analyse the operations of the commercial bank on the money market and the risks connected with them using statistic data, the given information of periodicals as well as scientific literature about the present theme. The paper consists of four chapters and several sub-chapters. In the first chapter, the theoretical footings of the money market are discussed. In the second chapter, the author pays attention to the operations of commercial banks on the money market and its practical organisation in the bank. In the third chapter, the methods of the currency exchange rate forecast are discussed. In the fourth chapter, the issue of the risk limitation connected with the money market operations in banks is discussed. After the data having been researched, the author made overall conclusions taking into consideration the set aims as well as gave some recommendations and proposals on the basis of the conclusion. The graduation paper consists of 60 pages. In the working out of the graduation paper, 32 literature sources were used. The paper contains 3 tables and 13 pictures. The paper has both theoretical and practical value. It is meant for a vast group of readers: the students of the department of economics, employees of commercial banks and others who are interested in work on the international money market.
