Abstract

Dotais darbs iepazīstina lasītāju ar Latvijas pensiju sistēmu un tās niansēm, tomēr galvenais akcents likts uz privātajiem pensiju fondiem. Darba mērķis ir atklāt lasītājam Latvijas pensiju sistēmas vēsturi no tās aizsākumiem, kā arī piedāvāt analīzi, kurā apskatīts šobrīd esošo privāto pensiju fondu stāvoklis un to attīstības perspektīva. Darbā izmantota kā teorija, tā salīdzinošie dati. Lai pilnīgāk iepazītos ar piedāvāto tēmu, darbā iekļautas 11 tabulas un 11 grafiki, kas atspoguļo gan pēdējo 3 gadu statistiskos rādītājus, gan detalizētas Latvijas pensiju fondu darbības shēmas. Darbs sadalīts 3 daļās. Pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīta pensiju sistēmas pamatteorija un izveidošanas vēsture Latvijas Republikā. Otrā daļa pievērš lasītāju normatīvajai bāzei, uz kuras dotajā brīdī balstās Latvijas pensiju sistēmas darbība. Trešajā daļā analizēti privāto pensiju fondu statistiskie rādītāji. Dotais darbs, kas satur 66 lappuses, var tikt izmantots kā palīglīdzeklis, lai veiktu sākotnējo iepazīšanos ar Latvijas pensiju sistēmas veidošanās vēsturi un patreizējo situāciju privāto pensiju fondu segmentā, kā arī ar to darbības sistēmu.

The given paper presents to its reader the pension system of Latvia with all its nuances; however, the main accent is put on the private pension funds. The purpose of this paper is to convey the history of the Latvian pension system and its beginnings, as well as to come forward with the analysis of the existing situation and the development perspective of the private pension funds. Compiling this paper the author has used both theory and comparative data. For a more thorough insight into the proposed theme, the paper contains 11 tables and 11 diagrams, reflecting the statistical data for the last 3 years as well as detailed operation schemes of Latvian pension funds. The paper is divided into 3 parts. The first part takes a look at the principal theory of pension system and the history of its formation in the Republic of Latvia. The second part of the paper describes the normative base, which is the cornerstone of the Latvian pension system. The third part is devoted to the analysis of the statistical data of the private pension funds. The given paper, containing 66 pages, can be used as a supplementary aid for primary studies of the history of formation of the Latvian pension system, the existing situation in the segment of private pension funds and its operation system.
