Finanšu krīzes ietekme uz ieguldījumu fondu darbību

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Finanšu krīzes ietekme uz ieguldījumu fondu darbību” tiek pētītas finanšu sistēmas un investīciju fondu darbības problēmas krīzes apstākļos. Veicot analīzi, autors īpašu uzmanību velta IPAS “Parex Asset Management” fondu ienesīguma analīzei finanšu krīzes apstākļos. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz investīciju fondu darbības teoriju, veikt IPAS “Parex Asset Management” fondu ienesīguma analīzi finanšu krīzes apstākļos, to veidošanas un pārvaldīšanas analīzi un novērtēšanu, kā arī uzrakstīt secinājumus un izstrādāt priekšlikumus ieguldījumu fondu darbības optimizēšanai. Bakalaura darba teorētiskā daļa tiek veltīta finanšu sistēmas raksturošanai, investīciju fondu būtības izpētei, kā arī to veidošanas un attīstības vēstures izpētei. Autors izskata investīciju fondu veidus un dažādiem investīciju fondiem atbilstošus investīciju stratēģiju tipus. Bakalaura darba praktiskajā daļā autors veic Parex Asset Management ieguldījumu fondu analīzi, pievēršot uzmanību to veidošanas un pārvaldīšanas pozitīvajām un negatīvajām pusēm. Parex Asset Management investīciju fondi tiek analizēti finanšu instrumentu griezumā, kā arī pēc to ģeogrāfiskā izvietojuma un pēc subjektiem. Īpaša uzmanība tiek veltīta Parex Asset Management investīciju fondu ienesīguma analīzei un fondu pārvaldīšanas efektivitātes analīzei. Darba rezultatā, pamatojoties uz veiktās analīzes datiem, autors piedāvā savus secinājumus un priekšlikumus ieguldījumu fondu darbības uzlabošanai, kas atbilstu dažādu investoru grupu interesēm un prasībām. Bakalaura darba apjoms ir 63 lappuses, tas satur 19 attēlus, 6 tabulas un 26 izmantotās literatūras avotus.

The Bachelor’s Thesis „The influence of the financial crisis on investment funds’ performance” includes a research on the problems experienced by the financial system and investment funds in the environment of the financial crisis. During the research, the author pays emphasized attention to the performance of investnment funds managed by an investment company IPAS “Parex Asset Management”(hereinafter PAM) in the times of the crisis. The goal of the thesis is to analyse PAM funds’ performance, to perform the analysis of its creation, management and assesment, based on the theory of investment funds performance, as well as to develop a conclusion and recomendations on how to optimise the activity of investment funds. Theoretical part of the Bachelor’s Thesis covers the characteristics of financial system, research of the essence of investment funds, as well as the analysis of its historical developement. The author reviews the types of investment funds and investment strategies, peculiar to various investment funds. The empirical part of the thesis includes the author’s analysis of PAM funds, with the emphasis on the advantages and disadvantages of the fund establishement and management model. Parex Asset Management investment funds are analysed in the context of financial instruments, geographical allocation and holdings. Special emphasis is given to the PAM funds’ performance analysis, as well as efficiency analysis of funds’ management. In the result of the completed research, the author suggests recomendations and conclusions, which are based on the results of the performed analysis, for the improvement of the funds’ management, that could correspond to the financial needs and demands of various investor groups.
