Bakalaura darbā "Taksometru tirgus Rīgā" autori pēta Rīgas taksometru tirgus problēmas un kā tas ir mainījies kopš darbu uzsāka kompānija "Baltic Taxi". Pēc "Baltic Taxi" taksometru tirgū konflikti pārauga asās sadursmēs. Tā kā taksometrs nereti ir pirmais sabiedriskā transporta līdzeklis, ko ierodoties Rīgā izmanto tūristi, darba autori nolēma, izpētīt Rīgas taksometru tirgu un piedāvāt priekšlikumus tā pilnveidošanai un uzlabošanai.
Autori secina, ka Rīgā ir par daudz taksometru kompāniju un tādēļ arī notiek kari, jo jebkuras uzņēmējdarbības mērķis ir gūt peļņu. Tāpat autori secina, ka pēc "Baltic Taxi" darbības uzsākšanas tirgū kardinālas izmaiņas nav notikušas - katra kompānija strādā pēc saviem ieskatiem, nereti arī ar negodīgām metodēm un tirgū trūkst pilnvērtīgas regulācijas jeb kontroles.

En bachelor´s thesis "Taxi market in Riga" its writers are researching and describing the problems of Riga´s taxi market, and the changes since "Baltic Taxi" has been offering their services. After they started operate the conflicts in taxi market turned into accidents. Since the taxies are one of the first public transports the tourists are using after their arrival in Riga, the authors of this thesis desided to research taxi marketing in Riga and to propose the offers and suggestions to improve it.
Authors have made conclusions that there is to many taxi companies in Riga, and that is why they have problems between each other, the goal for each company is to profit. Authors also became to conclusions that there have not been to many changes after "Riga Taxi" had entered the market - each company is working by fallowing their own insights, sometimes they use unfair methods and there is no control or regulations over it.
