Bakalaura darbā autors ir aprakstījis ar pētāmas tēmas saistīto teorētisko daļu – tirgu jēdzienu, būtību, tā veidus, pieprasījumu un piedāvājumu, un patērētāju rīcību, kā arī iedziļinājies vārda „elektromobilis” izprašanā, aprakstot elektromobiļa vēsturi, atšķirīgas īpatnības, priekšrocības un trūkumus.
Analītiskajā daļā autors veicis ekspertu aptauju, lai noskaidrotu un prognozētu tālāko tirgus attīstību, kā arī veicis aptauju lai noskaidrotu patērētāju zināšanas par elektromobiļiem.
