Zusammenfassung
Darba mērķis ir novērtēt Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsētas statusa ietekmi uz tūrisma nozari Baltijas valstīs. Darba sākumā tika izvirzīta hipotēze, ka Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsētas statuss būtiski ietekmē tūrisma nozari valstī.
Darbs sastāv no trijām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīts tūrisma jēdziens un darbā izmantotās prognozēšanas metodes. Otrā daļā tiek aprakstītas Lietuvas, Igaunijas un Latvijas tūrisma nozares. Trešā nodaļa iekļauj sevī ekspertu aptaujas rezultātus un tūristu skaita prognozēšanu, izmantojot regresijas analīzi. Darba nobeigumā ir formulēti 13 secinājumi un 9 priekšlikumi.
Darba rezultātā izvirzītā hipotēze netika pierādīta. Eiropas kultūras galvaspilsētas statusam nav būtiskas ietekmes uz tūrisma nozari.
Darba apjoms ir 60 lappuses. Tajā ir iekļauti 21 attēls, 7 tabulas un izmantoti 30 informācijas avoti. The aim of thesis is to evaluate influence of the status of European Capital of Culture on the tourism in the Baltic States. The hypothesis of this thesis: the status of European Capital of Culture has a fundamental influence on tourism.
The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter describes the concept of tourism and forecasting methods used in the work. The second part describes the tourism industry in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The third chapter includes the results of the expert survey and forecasting for number of tourists. In the end of the work, there are 13 main conclusions and 9 suggestions.
The hypothesis was not proved. The status of European Capital of Culture has no significant influence on the tourism industry.
Bachelor thesis has 60 pages. It includes 21 pictures, 7 tables and 30 information sources.
