Latvijas Universitātes augšņu monolītu kolekcijas vērtējums

Abstract

Darbā apskatītas raksturīgākās Latvijas augsnes, to veidošanās ietekmējošie faktori un procesi, kā arī to izplatība. Bakalaura darbā vērtēta Latvijas Universitātes Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultātes augsnes kolekcija un tās reprezintāte. Monolītu kolekcijas augsnes darbā ir aprakstītas un raksturotas to īpašības un izplatība. Darbs satur arī priekšlikumus augsnes kolekcijas papildināšanai. LU ĢZZF augšņu kolekcija ir nepilnīga. Augšņu kolekcijā pašlaik ir 23 apakštipi no 56 Latvijā izplatītajiem augšņu apakštipiem. Tādēļ darbā autors pievērš uzmanību ieteikumiem par kolekcijas pilnveidošanu, iesakot teritorijas, kur būtu ieteicams noņemt trūkstošos augsnes monolītus. Bachelor contains overview of most characteristic types of soil found in Latvia, their area of distribution, influence of soil related processes and factors. The collection of soils situated in the University of Latvia, Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences have been evaluated and reviewed. Evaluation contains review of monolith soils characteristics, areal spread and layout. Suggestive hints for further expansion of soil monolith collection have also been added due to current lack of variety and not represented subtypes in the collection. The soil monolith collection currently contains 23 subtypes of all 56 found in Latvia. To give a theoretical basis on solving this issue, suggestions on most fitting geographical allocations for finding not represented soil subtypes are evaluated and reviewed in bachelor.
