| dc.description.abstract | Gruņiere, G. 2013. Virānes ezeru sateces baseina attīstība leduslaikmeta beigu posmā un holocēnā. Bakalaura darbs. LU Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultāte, Ģeoloģijas nodaļā.
Bakalaura darba mērķis ir raksturot Virānes ezeru sateces baseina attīstības apstākļus leduslaikmeta beigu posmā un holocēnā.
Autore, izstrādājot darbu, lauka pētījumu ietvaros Virānes ezeru sateces baseinā veica 34 zondējumus, pēc kuru rezultātiem tika veidoti ģeoloģiskie griezumi. Un 10 zondējumi un 1 urbumu tika veikts Mazajā Virānes ezerā, no kura iegūtie nogulumi tika sagatavoti turpmākām analīzēm laboratorijās, tai skaitā karsēšanas zudumu analīzei un makroatlieku analīze. Pēc iegūtajiem rezultātiem tika raksturota Virānes ezeru sateces baseina attīstība leduslaikmeta beigu posmā un holocēnā.
Darbā ir 64 lappuses, darbs sastāv no ievada, 5 nodaļām, secinājumiem, literatūras saraksta un 3 pielikumiem.

The aim of Bachelor’s thesis was to study the development of Viranes lakes cathment area during the Late Glacial and Holocenes.
In the frame of the bachelor’s work 10 sediment cores and 1 geologial bore were done in Small Viranes lake. Sediment samples wew collected for laboratory analyses, included Loss on ignition and plants macrofossil analysis. And 34 sedoment cores werw done in Virāne lakes catchment area and after werw made geological cross-section. The obtained results allow to charactireise change in Vairanes lakes catchment area during Late Glacial and the Holocene.
The Bachelor work contains 64 page, 5 chapters, introduction, conslusion, lsit of literature and 3 appendizes.
