| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbā „Ainavu dziednieciskā funkcionalitāte pilsētas slimnīcās: Rīgas 1.slimnīcas un klīnikas Linezers piemēros” slimnīcas ārtelpa ir apskatīta kā neiztrūkstoša pilsētvides daļa. Darbs ietver jautājumus, cik funkcionālas ir Rīgas slimnīcu teritorijas vai praksē tās pilda dziednieciskas ainavas funkcijas.
Darbu veido četras nodaļas. Pirmajā ir apskatīta dziedniecisko ainavu būtība un jēdziena definējums kontekstā ar šādu ainavu attīstību pirmajās ārstniecības iestādēs Eiropā. Otrā nodaļa sniedz pārskatu par pirmo ārstniecības iestāžu, kā arī pētāmo slimnīcu veidošanos un attīstību Rīgā. Trešajā nodaļā ir apskatīta ainavu veidošana un funkcionalitāte slimnīcās, izvērtējot atsevišķi katras etalonteritorijas ainavas. Balstoties uz lauka pētījumos iegūtiem datiem, darba pēdējā nodaļā ir izvērtēta dziedniecisku ainavu funkcionalitāte Rīgas 1. slimnīcas un klīnikas „Linezers” piemēros.
Bakalaura rezultāti parāda dziedniecisku ainavu funkcionalitātes īpatnības Rīgas pilsētas piemēros.

| dc.description.abstract | The bachelor thesis „Landscape Healing Functionality in Municipal Hospitals: the Case Study of Riga City Hospital 1 and Hospital “Linezers”” focuses on hospital yards as an integral part of the city environment. The main questions concern the functionality of hospital’s garden landscapes, e.g., 'How functional are Riga's hospital landscapes?' or 'Are they fulfilling the healing landscape functions they are supposed to?'. Another important part of the thesis is dedicated to the historical development of hospitals and its links to the present day landscape structure.
The thesis consists of four parts. The first part looks at healing landscape concepts in the context of hospital evolvement in Europe. The second part describes first hospitals, including the two case studies featured in this research. The third part comprises landscape development and functionality analysis and evaluation at the hospitals. The last part is based on the questionnaires data analysis and evaluates the functionality of healing landscapes in Riga First Hospital and hospital "Linezers” from the perspective of patients, visitors and employees.
