Abstract

Mihails Čugunovs, Priežu apauguma attīstība Cenas tīrelī, bakalaura darbs, 47 lappuses, darba mērķis ir telpiski un hronoloģiski raksturot priežu apauguma attīstību Cenas tīrelī, kartēt priežu apauguma Cenas tīrelī blīvumu un noskaidrot priežu apauguma vecuma struktūras telpisko diferenciāciju. Darbs sastāv no zinātniskās literatūras apskata par purvu ekosistēmām un to veģetācijas ekoloģiju, pētījuma metožu apraksta, rezultātu apraksta, rezultātu diskusijas un pielikumiem. Michael Chugunov, Development of Scots Pine (Pinus Sylvestris) cover in Cena bog, bachelor‟s paper, 47 pages, the aim of the paper is to spatially and temporally characterize the development of pine cover in Cena mire, map the density of pine cover across the mire and ascertain the spatial differentiation of the age structure of pine cover. Paper consists of a review of scientific literature on mire ecosystems and ecology of mire vegetation, a description of the research design, the results, the discussion of the results and the appendix. Research methods are aerial photograph analysis and pine cover mapping. Dominant pine cover in Cena mire is 20 to 40 years old, the oldest being 110-120 years old. The main causes for the development of pine cover are melioration and eutrophication. Keywords: raised bog, pine cover, drainage, climate, nitrogen deposition.
