Velotūrisms un tā attīstības iespējas Limbažu rajonā

Abstract

Velotūrisms pasaulē arvien vairāk tiek izmantots kā svarīgs brīvā laika un izklaides pavadīšanas veids, kā ceļojuma galamērķi visbiežāk izvēloties teritorijas, kas izceļas ar ainavisko pievilcību un/vai ir bagātas ar kultūras un vēstures objektiem. Sekojošais piedāvā velotūrisma ilgspējīgas attīstības novērtējumu un uzskatāmi parāda šīs ceļošanas formas potenciālu nākotnē par piemēru ņemot Limbažu rajonu, uzsverot tā dabas un kultūrvēsturiskās vērtības un novērtējot esošo velotūrisma attīstības pakāpi. Pētījuma ietvaros tiek izanalizēti Limbažu rajona bremzējošie un veicinošie velotūrisma faktori, izvērtēta velotūrisma iekļaušanās kopējā transporta sistēmā un tūrisma produktu piedāvājumā, kā arī noteiktas tā nākotnes perspektīvas un piedāvāti risinājumi tā attīstībai un popularizēšanai nākotnē.

Bicycle tourism as an inportant leisure and recreational transportation mode are used more and more, for travelling destination often choosing teritories with atractive landscape and/or are many cultural and historical ladmarks. The following propose sustainable development estimation of bicycle tourism and demonstrante potentional of this travelling mode in the future for example taking Limbažu district, giving accent to its nature and heritage value and estimating degree of bicycle tourism. There are analysed the coefficient and disincentive factors of Limbažu district, appraised bicycle tourism alignment in the common system of transport and tourism, and also prescribed future perspective of planning and management of bicycle tourism.
