Libānas drošība pēc Sīrijas pilsoņu kara 2011. gadā

Abstract

Darba mērķis bija izpētīt, vai Libānas drošībā ir notikušas izmaiņas kopš 2011. gada Sīrijas pilsoņu kara sākuma. Drošība tika pētīta sabiedriskajā un politiskajā sektorā. Darba uzdevumi ietvēra drošības koncepta izpēti, kā arī sabiedriskā un politiskā sektora pazīmju identificēšanu. Empīriskajā darba daļā tika izpētīta Libānas drošība pirms un pēc Sīrijas pilsoņu kara, pētot sabiedrisko grupu drošību, valsts idejas un armijas stabilitāti pirms un pēc Sīrijas pilsoņu kara. Darba gaitā apstiprinājās pētījuma sākumā izvirzītā hipotēze un tika secināts, ka Libānas sunnītu kopienas iesaistīšanās pilsoņu karā samazināja sabiedrisko un politisko drošību, sasniedzot kritisku drošības stāvokli.

The goal of the thesis was to research if the Lebanese security has changed since the beginning of the Syrian civil war in 2011. The Lebanese security has been studied in the societal and the political security sector. Tasks of the thesis were divided into researching security concept and identifying the main indicators of the societal and political security sector. The tasks of the empirical part were to research the Lebanese security before and after the Syrian civil war, analyzing security of the communities, state’s ideology and army. It was concluded that the Lebanese security before the Syrian civil war was in a very low level; however, after the Syrian civil war, the Lebanese security has decreased and reached a critical level due to the involvement of the Lebanese Sunni community in the Syrian civil war.
