Sekundārā atlase - krājuma attīstību ietekmējošs faktors augstskolu bibliotēkās

Abstract

Dokumentu sekundārā atlase ir būtisks bibliotēkas krājuma veidošanas un bibliotēkas pamatuzdevumu izpildes nosacījums. Maģistra darbā ir apskatīti bibliotēkas krājuma veidošanas un sekundārās atlases teorētiskie jautājumi, atklāta sekundārās atlases nozīme bibliotēkas krājuma veidošanā, apskatīts Latvijas Universitātes Bibliotēkas sekundārās atlases process un veikta tā rezultātu analīze. Pētījuma rezultātus varētu izmantot citu augstkolas bibliotēku sekundārās atlases procesa organizēšanai. Secondary selection of documents is an important precondition for a library collection building and meeting library's basic goals. The master's paper focuses on theoretical issues of the library collection building and secondary selection, reveals the importance of secondary selection in the library collection building, investigates the process of secondary selection at the Library of the University of Latvia and analyses its results. The investigation results could be used to organize the process of secondary selection at other academic libraries.
