Līdzdalība Latvijā pēc 9.Saeimas vēlēšanām

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Līdzdalība Latvijā pēc 9. Saeimas vēlēšanām”. Darba mērķis: Analizēt LR pilsoņu politisko līdzdalību Latvijā pēc 9. Saeimas vēlēšanām.

Bakalaura darba gaitā izvirzītā hipotēze apstiprinājās: Pilsoņu neieinteresētība politikā ietekmē līdzdalību referendumos.

Darbā aprakstīta LR iedzīvotāju līdzdalība 2008. gada notikušajos referendumos par likumprojektiem „Grozījumi LR Satversmē” un „Grozījums likumā „Par valsts pensijām”, kā arī aprakstīti pilsoniskās līdzdalības veidi, veikta analīze par LR iedzīvotāju ietekmējošiem faktoriem referendumā, kāpēc LR iedzīvotāji piedalās, vai nepiedalās šajos 2008. gada referendumos. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada, četrām nodaļām un nobeiguma. Darba apjoms 68. lpp. Darbā ietverti četri attēli.

Topic of this bachelor thesis is “Participation in Latvia after the 9th Saeima Elections”. Aim of thesis: To analyze the political participation of the citizens of the Republic of Latvia after the 9th Saeima elections.

Hypothesis, which was proposed in this thesis paper, was confirmed: citizens’ lack of interest in politics influence their participation in referendums.

Thesis paper describes the participation of Latvian citizens in the referendums of 2008 on „Amendments in the Constitution of the Republic of Latvia” and „Amendments in the Pension Law”. Different forms of civic participation are described and the factors that influence the participation of the Latvian citizens in referendums are analyzed - why people participated or did not participate in the referendums of 2008.

Thesis consists of introduction, four chapters, and conclusion. Thesis consists of 68 pages and includes 4 tables.
