| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Zolitūdes traģēdijas atspoguļojums „TV3” un „LNT” ziņās”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā Zolitūdes lielveikala „Maximas” traģēdiju atspoguļoja „TV3 ziņās” un „LNT ziņās”. Pētnieciskais jautājums: Kurš ziņu dienests, proti, „TV3 ziņas” vai „LNT ziņas” Zolitūdes traģēdijas atspoguļošanā iesaistīja vairāk resursus?
Teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota literatūra par ziņu (jēdziena skaidrojums, atlases kritēriji, televīzijas ziņu specifika) un mediju darbs ārkārtas situācijā.
Metodoloģiskajā daļā izmantotas trīs pētniecības metodes: kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze un daļēji strukturēta intervija.
Empīriskajā daļā tiek izklāstīta iegūto rezultātu analīze. Darba ietvaros tika veikta kvalitatīvā un kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze „LNT ziņu” un „TV3 ziņu” sižetiem, kas tika veltīti Zolitūdes traģēdijai laika posmā no 2013.gada 21.novembra līdz 2013.gada 21.decembrim, kā arī daļēji strukturēta intervija ar „LNT ziņu” un „TV3 ziņu” producentiem.
Darba laikā tiek pierādīts, ka „LNT Ziņas” Zolitūdes traģēdijas atspoguļošanā iesaistīja vairāk resursus nekā „TV3 ziņas”.

| dc.description.abstract | The title of bachelors work is “Reflection of Zolitutdes tragedy in „TV3” and ‘”LNT” news”. Target of work is to clarify how the tragedy of Zolitudes shop “Maxima” was reflected in TV3 and LNT news. The question of research: which news channel “TV3 news” or “LNT news” involved more resources for reflecting tragedy of Zolitude?
Theoretical part consists of literature about news (definition, criteria of selection, specifics of television news) and work of media in emergency cases.
Three research methods are used in methodological part: qualitative and quantitative content analysis and partly structured interview.
Results of research are explained in empirical part. Qualitative and quantitative content analysis methods were used for analyzing “TV3 news” and “LNT news” stories about Zolitude tragedy during the time period of November 21 and December 21, 2013. Partly structured interviews were made together with producers of “TV3 news” and “LNT news”.
The work suggests that “LNT news” involved more resources for reflection of Zolitudes tragedy than “TV3 news”.
