Efektīva transporta politika ir būtiski svarīga ES konkurētspējai, kas ir norādīts daudzos EK tiesību aktos un dokumentos. Viena no nozarēm, kas ietekmē ES ekonomiskas attīstības efektivitāti, ir kopējā transporta politika (KTP), kuras mērķi ir nodrošināt Eiropu ar efektīvu transporta sistēmu, nodrošināt konkurētspēju Eiropas rūpniecībā, pilnveidot energoapgādes drošību, aizsargāt vidi, pasažierus, un veicināt minimālo darba apstākļu standartu ievērošanu.

Eiropas autobūves nozare sniedz nozīmīgus ieguldījumus ES KTP. Tā ir ieguvusi pozitīvu reputāciju kvalitatīvu produktu piegādē pasaules tirgum, nodrošinot augstus tirdzniecības rādītājus un peļņu. Nozarei ir lielas nodarbinātības iespējas un tā ir investīciju līderis Pētniecībā, Attīstībā un Inovācijās, pateicoties kam nozare ir ievērojami pieaugusi un uzlabojusies.

Maģistra darbs uz ES līgumu un noteikumu, statistikas datu un pētījumu, monogrāfiju un pētniecības dokumentu pamata pēta ES KTP, identificē pasākumus vides aizsardzībai, pētniecības, attīstības un inovācijas autobūves nozarē un novērtē tās konkurētspēju automobiļu nozarē. Maģistra darba beigās autori sniedz secinājumus un ieteikumus.

Efficient Transport Policy is essential for the competitiveness of the EU that is pointed out in a number of the EC legal acts and documents. One of the industries that influence effectiveness of EU economic development is the Common Transport Policy’s (CTP) aimed at providing Europe with a competitive transport system, ensure energy security, protect the environment, passengers and promote minimum labor standards.

The European automobile industry gives an important input to EU CTP. It has a reputation in delivering the quality products to the global market, accounting a high trade surplus. The industry has high opportunities of employment and is one of the leader investors in Research, Development and Innovation, by which the industry has considerably grown and advanced.

Master thesis on the bases of European Union (EU) treaties and regulations, statistical data and studies, monographs and research papers studied the EU CTP, identified the measures of environmental protection, R&D and innovations in the automobile industry and evaluated its competitiveness of the automobile industry. At the end of MT the authors provided the conclusions and recommendations.
