Abstract
Bakalaura darbā „Jaunās mājvietu ainavas: Amatciema piemērs” tiek pētīts Latvijā unikāls ciemata būvniecības projekts, kurā mājvietu ierīkošanai tiek būtiski transformēta ainava, pārveidojot dabu, rezultātā radot viensētu ciema sajūtu. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt, kā noris jauna veida mājvietu ainavu veidošana un attīstība Amatciema piemērā. Noskaidrots, ka nākotnē Amatciema koncepcija varētu likties saistoša lielai daļai cilvēku un tā nostiprinātos kā jauna veida mājvietas ainavas attīstības modelis. Darbs balstīts interviju, kontekstualizēšanas un diskursa analīzes metodēs.

This bachelor’s thesis “New landscapes of dwelling: the case of Amatciems” researches a unique village construction project in Latvia, where landscape is substantially transformed, changing the nature with the aim to build a village with a feeling of farmstead. The aim of this study is to analyse the process of creating and developing a new type of landscape of dwelling in the case of Amatciems. It comes to the conclusion that the concept of Amatciems might become attractive for more and more people and this concept would develop as a new type of landscape of dwelling model. This research is grounded on interviews, contextualization and discourse analyses methods. Key words: Amatciems, rurbanisation, landscape of dwelling, Čiris, inhabitants, interview.
