Ārvalstu tūrisms Kuldīgā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Ārvalstu tūrisms Kuldīgā” tiek aprakstīta un novērtēta ārvalstu tūrisma attīstība un iespējamais ārvalstu tūrisma potenciāls Kuldīgas pilsētai. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek doti vispārēji skaidrojumi par tūrisma attīstības vēsturi, dažādām tūrisma politikām Eiropā un Latvijā, un tūrisma mārketingu. Otrajā nodaļā norādīti pētījumā izmantotie materiāli un metodes. Trešajā nodaļā tiek pētīts Kuldīgas ārvalstu tūrisma potenciāls, sākot ar nelielu ieskatu pilsētas vēsturiskajā attīstībā un beidzot ar jaunāko informāciju par pašreizējo situāciju gan reģionālā, gan lokālā mērogā. Tiek sniegti arī priekšlikumi un ieteikumi kā veicināt ārvalstu tūrisma attīstību Kuldīgā. Kuldīgai ir augsts ārvalstu tūrisma potenciāls, tomēr pilsētā nepieciešami vēl daudz uzlabojumu un papildinājumu infrastruktūrā. Bachelors work „Foreign tourism in Kuldiga” decribes and estimates foreign tourism development and possible foreign tourism potential for Kuldiga city. In works theoretical part are given general explanation about tourism development history, various tourism policys in Europe and Latvia, and tourism marketing. In the second chapter are given materials and methods used in the sudy. In the third chapter are studys about foreign tourism potential, begining with small insight into citys historical development and finally ends with novel information about current situation in regional and local scale. There are also suggestions and advices how to promote foreign tourism development in Kuldiga. Kuldiga has considerably high foreign tourism potential, however city needs some more improvements in infrastructure. Key words: Kuldiga, tourism, tourism potential, foreign tourism.
