Bakalaura darba tēma - Piederīgo un aprūpes personāla viedokļi par insulta pacientu aprūpi mājās. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka no 2013. gada valsts nodrošina bezmaksas insulta pacientiem rehabilitācijas un fizioterapijas pakalpojumus mājās, lai samazinātu pacientu atrašanās laiku slimnīcā un nodrošinātu nepārtrauktību atveseļošanās procesā. Rehabilitācija un fizioterapijas speciālista pakalpojumi ir jauna pieredze insulta pacientiem un arī mājas aprūpes sniedzējiem tādēļ svarīgi ir apzināt abu pušu viedokļus par pakalpojuma pieejamību mājas aprūpe.
