Integrācijas process etniski jauktajās laulībās: kāzu tradīciju analīze

Abstract

Laulības ir būtisks solis katra cilvēka dzīvē. Laulātā partnera izvēle ir viens no nopietnākajiem lēmumiem indivīda dzīvē. Mūsdienās laulības noslēgšanas motīvi ir subjektīvi laulības attiecību veidošanas cēloņi un apstākļi, tādēļ bieži par savu dzīves biedru tiek izvēlēts indivīds no citas etniskās grupas. Kā jebkura laulība, arī etniski jauktas laulības ir cieši saistītas ar partneru savstarpēju integrēšanos un pielāgošanos, lai nodrošinātu laulības noturību. Tādējādi bakalaura darba autore bakalaura darbā apskata integrācijas procesu etniski jaukta pāra kāzās caur tradīciju prizmu, jo kāzas nereti ir viens no ritualizētākajiem notikumiem cilvēka dzīvē, kurā tradīcijām un to pārzināšanai ir ļoti liela nozīme Līdz ar to, šis darbs tiek veidots ar mērķi izzināt, etnisko atšķirību, kas balstītas uz etnisko identitāti, ietekmi uz integrācijas procesu etniski jauktajās laulībās. Pamatojoties uz šo, izvirzīta hipotēze - partneru etniskās atšķirības, kas balstītas uz etnisko identitāti jeb piederības apziņu savai etniskajai grupai, nav šķērslis veiksmīgam integrācijas procesam etniski jauktajās laulībās. Lai sasniegtu mērķi un pierādītu vai noliegtu hipotēzi, tiek apskatītas noteiktas socioloģiskas teorijas un pētījumi par integrācijas procesu, etnisko identitāti un etniskajām robežām. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veiktas intervijas ar etniski jauktajiem pāriem. Iegūtā informācija tiek apkopota un izstrādāta analīze, lai izprastu integrācijas procesu katra pāra dzīvē. Taču, lai pētījums būtu dziļāks, tiek veikta arī kāzu videomateriāla analīze. Darba hipotēze tiek pārbaudīta ar norvēģu zinātnieka Fredrika Bārta teoriju par etnicitāti un etniskajām robežām. Analizējot integrācijas procesu etniski jauktajās laulībās ar iepriekšminēto metožu palīdzību, ir noskaidrots, ka partneru etniskās atšķirības, kā pamatā ir etniskā identitāte, nav šķērslis veiksmīgam integrācijas procesam, jo lēmumi pāra attiecībās tiek veidoti, balstoties uz kompromisu un mīlestības aspektu. Līdz ar to, bakalaura darba hipotēze ir apstiprinājusies.

Marriage is a critical choice for a long-term relationship. Choosing a marriage partner is one of the most serious decisions in a person’s life course. Nowdays the reasons of marriage are subjective background and circumstances of marriage relationship shaping. That is why spouse from another ethnic group has been chosen. Like any other, ethnically mixed marriages are closely correlated to integration and adaptation of partners to assure the steadiness of marriage. The author of this bachelor’s paper deals with the integration process of ethnically mixed couple regarding the traditions, because wedding pretty often is one of the most ritualized events in person’s life, and traditions and knowing of them are significant. Wherewith this paper is made to find out the influence on integration process of ethnical differences, based on ethnical identity in ethnically mixed marriages. On this basis, the hypothesis has been raised – ethnical differences of partners, which are based on ethical identity or belonging sense to his or her ethnical group, do not interfere to successful process of integration in ethnically mixed marriages. To make the attainment of objective and to prove the hypothesis, there are discussed certain sociological theories and researches about the integration process, ethnical identity and ethnical borders. The empirical part of paper is based on author’s own observations – taking part in ethnically mixed wedding as a guest. Also author has made interviews with ethnically mixed couples. Acquired information is summarized and formulated analysis, to figure out integration process in each couple’s life. To extend the research, author makes wedding video analysis. The hypothesis in this paper is examined by Fredric Barth theory of ethnicity and ethnical borders. When the integration process in ethnically mixed marriages is analysed using the methods mentioned before, it is studied out that ethnical differences, which is based on ethnical identity of partners, are not the barrier for successful integration process, because couple’s decisions are made using the aspect of compromise and aspect of love. Wherewith, the paper’s hypothesis is approved.
