Politisko skandālu rāmējums laikrakstos Diena, Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze un Latvijas Avīze (2000─2006)

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Politisko skandālu rāmējums laikrakstos Diena, Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze un Latvijas Avīze (2000 – 2006)” tiek aplūkoti politiskie skandāli Latvijā pirms 8. un 9. Saeimas vēlēšanām, analizēts to rāmējums trijos lielākajos Latvijas nacionālajos laikrakstos.

Darbā tiek aplūkots politisko skandālu raksturojums un skandālu raksturojošās pazīmes, balstoties uz Džona B. Tomsona teoriju. Darbā tiek izmantota un aplūkota rāmējuma teorija. Darba mērķis ir salīdzināt politisko skandālu rāmējumu laikrakstos. Darbā tiek noskaidrots skandālu vēstījums laikrakstos, kā arī ietekme uz auditorijas izvēli par politiķi vēlēšanās. Pētījums pierāda, ka politiskie skandāli mazina vēlētāju uzticēšanos politiķiem un ietekmē vēlēšanu rezultātus.

In the Bachelor Paper “Framing of Political Scandals in the Newspapers Diena, Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze and Latvijas Avīze (2000 – 2006)” political scandals before the election of 8th and 9th Parliament in Latvia have been investigated. Their framing in three major national newspapers has been analyzed. The aim of the Bachelor Paper is to compare framing of political scandals in newspapers. The message of the scandals, as well as their influence on the audience’s choice of a politician in the elections has been investigated in the Bachelor Paper. Research proves that political scandals reduce voters’ trust in politicians, and they also influence the results of elections, as at the time of a political scandal and after it one can notice a decrease of politician’s or party’s raitings.
