| dc.description.abstract | Salīdzinoši īsā laikā internets ir kļuvis par cilvēku dzīves neatņemamu sastāvdaļu. Arvien vairāk cilvēku visā pasaulē izmanto internetu arī iepazīšanās nolūkiem. Lai gan pasaulē šai tēmai jau ir veltīta virkne pētījumu, Latvijā tā vēl nav plaši pētīta. Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot Latvijas jauniešu pieredzes un uzskatus saistībā ar iepazīšanos internetā. Kā darba teorētiskā bāze ir izmantotas Entonija Gidensa tīro attiecību un Zigmunda Baumana plūstošās mīlestības teorijas. Datu iegūšanas metode ir interneta tiešsaistes anketēšana.

| dc.description.abstract | In a relatively short period of time internet has become an essential part of human life. More and more people worldwide use internet for dating purposes. Although there have been many researches carried out in this field across the globe, in Latvia it has not been studied much. The objective of this research is to find out Latvian youth’s experiences and attitudes towards online dating. Anthony Giddens’s pure relationship and Zygmunt Bauman’s liquid love theories are used as theoretical background for this study. Online questionnaire is used to collect data.
