Elektroniskie resursi un to izmantošana praktizējošo ārstniecības personu mūžizglītībā

Abstract

Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes(RSU)bibliotēka ir Latvijas galvenā medicīnas informācijas bibliotēka. Tā lietotājiem piedāvā iespēju izmantot tiešsaistes medicīnas informācijas datubāzes gan uz vietas bibliotēkā, gan attālināti. Maģistra darbā ir apskatīta uz vērtību teorijas bāzes veidotā „Informācijas un informācijas pakalpojumu lietojumvērtības teorija”, lai noteiktu RSU bibliotēkas piedāvāto elektronisko resursu lietojumvērtību, un informācijpratības Lielā sešinieka modelis ārstniecības personu prasmju novērtēšanai. Maģistra darba pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot RSU bibliotēkas piedāvātos elektroniskos resursus un to kvalitāti, kā arī praktizējošo ārstniecības personu informācijpratību un vajadzību šos resursus izmantot mūžizglītībai. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka RSU bibliotēkas piedāvātie elektroniskie resursi ir kvalitatīvi un ārstniecības personas, kas tos izmanto, ir informācijpratīgas. Tomēr ne visām praktizējošajām ārstniecības personām ir vajadzība lietot RSU bibliotēkas piedāvātos elektroniskos resursus. Riga Stradins University (RSU) library is the leading medical library in Latvia. It provides access to online information data bases both in library and remote. In order to determine the use value of the electronic resources provided in the RSU library and the Big Six model for evaluation of the information literacy of health care personnel, in this master thesis the theory of information and information services use value, which is developed based on use value theory, was used. The aim of this research is to identify the electronic resources provided in the Riga Stradins University library, evaluate the quality of these resources, as well as the information literacy of health care personnel and need for these resources to support lifelong education. The research results show that electronic resources provided in the library are qualitative and a health care professional that uses the resources is information literate. However not all health care personnel need to use the resources provided by the library of Riga Stradins University.
