| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba "Jauna sabiedriskā medija veidošanas procesa reprezentācija laikrakstos "Latvijas Avīze" un "Diena" no 2010. gada līdz 2012. gadam: Salīdzinošā analīze" mērķis ir izpētīt, kā divi lielākie nacionālie laikraksti latviešu valodā reprezentē jauna sabiedriskā medija veidošanas procesu.
Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkots sabiedriskā medija jēdziens (McQuail, 2010, Badroel, Haenens, 2008, Syvertsen 2004, Tracey, 1998), sabiedriskā medija darbības principi (Harrison, Woods, 2001), kā arī apskatīta reprezentācijas teorija (Edwards, 2003; Hall, 1997; Ryden, 1996;Potter, 1996; Butler, Jeremy, 2007; Morley, 2005; Lacey, 1998; Luhmann, 2000)
Pētījums tika veikts ar kvantitatīvās kontentanalīzes principiem. Iegūtie dati tika analizēti, izmantojot J. Stirlingas tematiskās analīzes principus.

| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this Bachelor thesis “Representation of Establishment Process of New Public Service Broadcasting in "Latvijas Avize" and "Diena" 2010–2012: Comparative Analysis” is to explore how the two major national newspapers in Latvian, represents the making of a new Public Service Broadcasting.
In the theoretical part the author touches upon the concept of public media (McQuail, 2010 Badroel, Haenen, 2008, Syvertsen 2004 Tracey, 1998), the principles of social media (Harrison, Woods, 2001), as well as deals with the representation theory (Edwards, 2003; Hall , 1997; Ryden, 1996; Potter, 1996; Butler, Jeremy, 2007, Morley, 2005; Lacey, 1998; Luhmann, 2000).
The research was conducted using the principles of quantitative content analysis. The data were analyzed using J. Stirling Principles of Thematic Network analysis.
