Bakalaura darbā „Latvijas futbola kā komandu spēles tēls” darba autors pētījis futbola kā komandu spēles, Latvijas futbola Virslīgas un Latvijas nacionālās futbola izlases tēlu. Darbā tiek aprakstīta tēla teorija, balstoties uz Klausa Mertena un citu teorētiķu tēla teorijām un praksēm. Attieksmes mērīšanai izmantota Čārlza Osguda semantiskā diferenciāļa metode.
Darbā autors pētījis futbola kā komandu spēles tēlu, Latvijas futbola Virslīgas un Latvijas nacionālās futbola izlases tēlu, jo sporta portāla komentētāji nav vienisprātis ar faktu, ka populārākais sporta veids Latvijā ir tieši futbols.
Ir novērojama būtiska atšķirība starp futbola kā komandu spēles tēlu un Latvijas futbola Virslīgas un nacionālās izlases tēlu, tāpēc tiek meklēti iemesli tam, kāpēc sabiedrībai ir izveidojies tāds tēls.
Bakalaura darbu veido trīs daļas: teorētiskā, metodoloģija un pētnieciskā daļa.

The bachelor thesis „Image of Latvian football as a team sport” author has analyzed the image of football as a team sport, Latvian Higher football league and Latvian National football team. The thesis describes the image theory, based on image theory of Klaus Merten and other theorist image theories and practices. As a tool to measure attitudes was used Charles Osgood semantic differential method.
The author during thesis analyzed image of football as a team sport, Latvijas Higher football league and Latvian National football team, because the users of internet sport pages do not agree to the fact, that football is the most popular sport in Latvia.
There is a distinct difference between the image of football as a team sport and Latvian Higher league and National team images, that is why reasons are being searched to describe - why there is such phenomen.
The bachelor thesis consists of three parts: theoretical, methodological and research chapter.
