Francijas un Vācijas ietekme uz eirozonas paplašināšanos: Baltijas valstu piemērs

Abstract

Darbā aplūkota Francijas un Vācijas ietekme uz eirozonas paplašināšanos, izmantojot Baltijas valstu gadījumus. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā Vācijas un Francijas skatījums uz eirozonas integrāciju ietekmēja Baltijas valstu uzņemšanu eirozonā. Darbā tiek atbildēts uz jautājumiem: (1) Vai lēmumu par Baltijas valstu uzņemšanu eirozonā ir ietekmējusi Francijas un Vācijas eirozonas integrācijas politika? (2) Kādi iekšpolitiskie faktori Francijā un Vācijā ir veicinājuši vai tieši pretēji neveicinājuši eirozonas paplašināšanos? (3) Kādi starptautiskā līmeņa faktori ir veicinājuši eirozonas paplašināšanos? Darba teorētiskā bāze balstās uz liberālo starpvaldību teoriju un “divlīmeņu spēles” pieeju. Darba metodoloģija balstās uz kvalitatīvajām analīzes metodēm, analizējot Baltijas valstu gadījumus. Darba rezultāti apliecina, ka Baltijas valstu uzņemšanu eirozonā noteica Francijas un Vācijas eirozonas integrācijas politika.

Research paper examines the influence of France and Germany on Eurozone enlargement by analysing the cases of three Baltic States. The aim of this paper is to determine how France’s and Germany’s European integration vision influenced accepting the Baltic States in the Eurozone. This paper provides answers to the following questions: (1) Were the decisions on accepting the Baltic States in the Eurozone influenced by France’s and Germany’s Eurozone integration policy? (2) What kind of domestic level factors in France and Germany contributed to the enlargement of the Eurozone? (3) What kind of international level contributed to the enlargement of the Eurozone? The theoretical background of this research paper is based on Liberal Intergovernmentalism and “two-level game” approach. The methodology of research is based on qualitative methods analysing the cases of the Baltic States. The results of the research approve that accepting the Baltic States in the Eurozone was influences by the Eurozone integration policy of France and Germany.
