Abstract

Darba mērķis ir apskatīt datoru atjaunošanas programmatūru, pielāgot lietošanai, salīdzināt lietojamības ziņā. Šādu rīku izmantošana ir aktuāla lielu uzņēmumu tīklos, kur datoru administratoram fiziski nepietiks laika pārinstalēt, pievienot kontentu vai pārraudzīt daudzus klientu datorus. Ir apskatīts gan Linux, gan Windows bāzētā programmatūra. Projekta uzsvars bija atrast tādu programmatūras kompleksu, kuru būs ērtāk un vieglāk lietot pēc darbā izstrādātajiem kritērijiem. Rezultāti parādīja, ka katrai programmatūrai ir savi trūkumi, ka arī pozitīvie aspekti. Tika specificēti kritēriji, pēc kuriem var izvēlēties sev piemēroto rīku kopumu.

The goal of this work is to create a review of recovery and cloning software suites, to setup them for usage and compare their usability. The main use of this kind of software is in large corporate networks where an administrator does not have the time to reinstall software, add content or simply maintain the vast number of client machines. The work reviews both Windows and Linux based software. A special emphasis was put on finding a software suite that is more convenient and easier to use according to the criteria laid out in the work. The results then show that each suite reviewed had its bad sides, as well as good ones. The work develops a set of criteria to compare such software and choose a suite appropriate to ones needs.
