Bluetooth bāzēta video straumēšana no iegultajām sistēmām

Abstract

Darbā tiek analizētas iespējas veikt uz Bluetooth bezvadu datu pārraides protokola bāzētu video straumēšanu starp iegultām ierīcēm un personālo datoru – ir apskatīti trīs potenciālie video straumēšanai izmantojamie protokoli: L2CAP, RFCOMM un HCI, kā arī Bluetooth tehnoloģijas atbalsts Linux un Windows operētājsistēmās. Darba mērķis ir pietiekamā apjomā iepazīties ar Bluetooth bāzētas video straumēšanas teorētisko pamatu, kā arī šajā jomā jau veiktajiem pētījumiem, lai varētu radīt programmatūru, kas ļaus izmantot mobilo telefonu ar Android operētājsistēmu kā bezvadu web kameru, demonstrējot video straumēšanas iespējas no ARM iegultās sistēmas uz Windows galda datoru.

This work analyzes the possibilities of streaming video between an embedded device and a personal computer using the Bluetooth technology as the wireless transport media. The work focuses on three main potential carrier protocols – L2CAP, RFCOMM and HCI, as well as the support of Bluetooth and the architecture of Bluetooth stacks in Windows 7 and Linux. The goal is to gain a sufficient theoretical basis and get acquainted with the research in the relevant area so that author is able to develop a system that would allow to use an Android based embedded system as a wireless webcam with a personal computer, thus showing the possibilities of streaming video from an embedded ARM system to a Windows desktop PC.
