Abstract

Darbā “Pašvaldību attīstības salīdzinājums NVS un ES pēc PSRS sabrukuma (Latvijas un Moldovas piemērs)” tiek sniegts pārskats par pašvaldību sistēmas attīstību pārejas posmā no totalitārisma uz demokrātiju PSRS sistēmā, Polijā, Čehijā un Latvijā, kā arī raksturota pārvaldes sistēmas attīstība līdz Moldovas neatkarībai un sniegts ieskats Latvijas un Moldovas attiecību vēsturē mūsdienās. Darba praktiskajā daļā salīdzinātas politiski ekonomiskās pārmaiņas Moldovā un Latvijā un salīdzinoši atklāta pašvaldību reformu gaita Moldovā un Latvijā.

Comparison of the development of municipalities in CIS and EU after the collapse of the USSR ( the example of Latvia and Moldova )”- this work gives a survey of the development of municipal system during the period of transition from totalitarian regime to democracy in the system of the USSR, Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia. It also characterizes the development of administration system till the establishment of independent Moldova as well as gives an insight into the modern history of the relation ship between Latvia and Moldova. The practical part of the work presents the comparison of political/ekonomic changes in Latvia and Moldova and reveals in a comparative way the process of municipal reforms in Latvia and Moldova.
