Abstract
procentu likme.
Atslēgu vārdi: vērtspapīri, indeksi, birža, korelācija, kointegrācija.
The bachelor thesis investigates the impact of Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian macroeconomic indicators (GDP, inflation, interest rates, unemployment rate and foreign direct investments) on the indexes of the Baltic States - OMX Tallin, OMX Vilnius, OMX Riga. The aim of the paper is to analyze the stock market of the Baltic states and to define among which indicators and indexes a strong correlation is observed, as well as to check if it stays during the financial crisis. Moreover, the paper points out a need to clarify the absence of long-term relationship between indicators and indexes. To maintain the aim, correlation and cointegration analysis is used. During the research, it becomes clear that the indicators which are worthwhile to consider when making investment decisions are unemployment rate and interest rate. Keywords: securities, indexes, stock exchange, correlation, cointegration
