Mūsdienās, it īpaši nesenās finansiālās krīzes dēļ, arvien nozīmīgāki kļūst bankrota prognozēšanas modeļi.
They aren’t important just to corporation management, that need to decide important decicions for future ot their corporation, but also to shareholders, who want to know about future of their corporation, potencial investors, who want to invest their finances safely, also workers, because they want to be secure about their workplace and at the end for whole society, to be able to predict unwanted development in their local comunities.
Author of master thesis looks through available literature and scientific publications about preconditions of financially effective corporation. Also takes a look at available bankcrupcy prediction models to determine financial stability of corporation. Also data mining techniques are examined. By using new knowledge author analyzes Sony corporation’s financial data by genetic algorithms to determine if corporation’s ineffective financial work in recent years doesn’t threaten with bankrupcy.
