Ilgtspējīga velotūrisma attīstība Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā velotūrisms ir pētīts kā ilgtspējīgu attīstību veicinošs līdzeklis. Maģistra darba rezultātā ir izstrādāta priekšlikumu pakete ilgtspējīga velotūrisma attīstībai Latvijā, kurā ir: identificētas mērķgrupas un to loma ilgtspējīga velotūrisma attīstībā, sniegti priekšlikumi par ieteicamajām aktivitātēm katrai mērķgrupai, izmantojamie ilgtspējīgas pārvaldības instrumenti un praktiski priekšlikumi, velotūrisma infrastruktūras veidošanai. Darba gaitā ir pētītas ilgtspējīga velotūrisma pazīmes, analizēta velotūrisma integratīvā nozīme starpsektoriālā griezumā, apskatīta un analizēta attīstības pieredze ārvalstīs un Latvijā. Darbā apzināts dažādu velotūrisma attīstībā iesaistīto pušu viedoklis par tā attīstības problemātiku un veikta gadījuma izpēte, analizējot velotūrisma telpiskās attīstības perspektīvu. Darbā ir pētīta arī vispārēja Latvijas iedzīvotāju pieprasījums un paradumi ceļojot ar velosipēdu.

In the Master’s Thesis cycling tourism as conducive tool of sustainable development has been studied. In the result of Master’s Thesis a package of proposals for sustainable cycling development in Latvia has been developed which includes: identificied target groups and their role in sustainable cycling tourism development, advisable activities for each of them, useable sustainable management instruments and practical proposals of development of cycling tourism infrastructure. During the research indications of sustainable tourism have been studied, analysed integrative impacts in the intermediate sectors, studied and analysed experience of cycling tourism development in foreign countries and in Latvia. In the Master’s Thesis advised opinion of several stakeholders of problematics of cycling tourism development are given and case study analysing spatial development perspective of cycling tourism was made. During research general request of cycling tourism and practice travelling with bicycle have been studied.
