Darbs ir veltīts Pasaules Bankas un Starptautiskā Valūtas fonda pozitīvo un negatīvo faktoru identificēšanai, kā arī Latvijas ieguvumu un risku izpētei, sadarbojoties ar PB un SVF.
Kā darba uzdevumi ir izvirzīti PB un SVF darbības un rezultātu izpēte, liekot akcentu uz Latvijas sadarbības projektu un programmu izpēti, kā arī ekspertu viedokļu noskaidrošana par PB un SVF sadarbības riskiem un ieguvumiem.
Balstoties uz iegūtajiem pētījuma rezultātiem, autors secina, ka minēto organizāciju sniegtie ieguvumi, zināšanas, tehniskais atbalsts un aizdevumi ir efektīvi instrumenti valstu stāvokļu uzlabošanā, taču tajā pašā laikā šo organizāciju lielā ietekme un vara nereti apdraud valstu labklājību. The main tasks are research of the WB and IMF activities and its results by maintaining emphasis on the Latvia’s cooperation research, as well as expert’s view comprehension of WB and IMF cooperation risks and benefits.
On the basis of the results of a study author concludes that the provided benefits such as knowledge, technical support and loans of the WB and IMF are effective instruments to improve national conditions, however WB and IMF because of its great influence and power often can be a threat to the national welfare.
