| dc.description.abstract | Autore bakalaura darbam izvēlējās tēmu „Brīvprātīgās veselības apdrošināšanas problēmas Latvijas tirgū”, jo tas ir viens no populārākajiem produktiem Latvijas apdrošināšanas tirgū, taču pastāv zināmi faktori, kas negatīvi ietekmē šī sektora attīstību.
Darba mērķis ir uz veselības apdrošināšanas tirgus izpētes un kompetentu ekspertu viedokļu pamata izteikt secinājumus un izstrādāt priekšlikumus brīvprātīgās veselības apdrošināšanas attīstības sekmēšanai Latvijas tirgū. Lai izprastu esošo sistēmu, darba autore izpētīja nozares darbības raksturojošos rādītājus, izveidoja aptauju starp Latvijas iedzīvotājiem un pētīja nozares speciālistu publiskos rakstus. Izpētes procesā darba autore atklāja vairākas problēmas, kas būtiski ietekmē veselības apdrošināšanas tirgus attīstību, un pie priekšlikumiem ir izveidojusi ierosinājumus to iespējamai atrisināšanai.

| dc.description.abstract | Voluntary health insurance is one of the most popular products in Latvian insurance market during the past few years, however there are there are some factors that influence the development of the field in a negative way, therefore the author for bachelor work has chosen the topic „Voluntary health insurance in Latvian market”.
The aim of this bachelor work is to based on the health insurance market analysis and competent experts views, make conclusions about identified issues and develop proposals for health insurance industry's perfomance improvement. In order to comprehend current system, the author has studied qualificative indexes of the field, took pools among inhabitants and studied articles of field specialists. During the investigation, the author has explored many problems which influence health insurance market development and offered possible solutions.
