| dc.description.abstract | Izstrādātā bakalaura darba „Makrofītu izmantošana Imulas upes ekoloģiskās kvalitātes noteikšanā” mērķis ir noteikt Imulas upes ekoloģisko kvalitāti pēc upē sastopamo makrofītu sugu sastāva. Augstāko ūdensaugu sugu sastāvs un to projektīvais segums tika noteikts 2009. gada vasarā. Makrofītu sugu izpēte tika veikta Imulas upes 10 posmos, kur katra reprezentatīvā posma garums bija 100 m. Bez makrofītu sugu izpētes tika veikts arī upes posmu biotopu raksturojums.
Upes posmu raksturošanai pēc makrofītu sugu sastāva un to procentuālā pārklājuma aprēķināti Šennona, IBMR un MTR indeksi, kā arī saprobitātes pakāpe.
Pēc iegūtajiem rezultātiem Imula atbilst ar barības vielām bagātai upei, kurā sastopama relatīvi liela makrofītu sugu daudzveidība.

| dc.description.abstract | The aim of Bachelor „Employment of macrophytes to establish ecological quality of river Imula” is to evaluate ecological quality of river Imula by macrophyte species composition. Species composition and projective covering of macrophytes were established in the summer of 2009. Estimation of macrophytes were performed at 10 segments in river Imula and length of every reprezentative segment was 100 meters. Biotope description of every reprezentative segment was also carried out.
Shannon index, IBMR and MTR index and saprobity were calculated for characterizing river stretches according to species composition of macrophytes and its covering.
The results showed that Imula is high nutritive river with relatively great macrophyte species diversity.
