Novadpētniecības materiālu izmantošana pamatskolas ģeogrāfijā: Bēnes piemērs

Abstract

Mācot ģeogrāfiju skolā, skolēniem ir svarīgi apgūt arī savas tuvākās apkārtnes ģeogrāfiju. Skolotājam ir jāizpēta šī vide un jāveido, vai jāpiemēro mācību materiāli šīs vides apgūšanas vajadzībām. Šī darba mērķis bija izpētīt Bēnes pagasta ģeogrāfisko vidi un atrast piemērotākos veidus, kā to izmantot pamatskolas ģeogrāfijā. Pētījuma gaitā, vācot un izpētot materiālus un veicot lauka novērojumus, tika izveidots pagasta vides ģeogrāfiskais raksturojums. Izpētot pedagoģisko literatūru un VISC vadlīnijas, iegūtā informācija par pagastu tika saskaņota ar ģeogrāfijas mācību saturu un iekļauta tajā. Tika atrastas piemērotas mācību metodes un izveidoti mācību materiālu piemēri pagasta vides izmantošanai ģeogrāfijas mācīšanā.

When geography is taught at the school, it`s important, that pupils would learn about the environment of their nearest neighbourhood. Teacher has to investigate this neighbourhood and to make materials for teaching about it or to accommodate the existing materials. The aim of this work was to explore the geographical environment of the district of Bene and to find the most appropriate ways to use this information for elementary school geography. The description of Bene`s geographical environment was made while researching the local environment and gathering and investigating the existing materials about it. After researching literature about education and the guide lines of VISC, the acquired information about the district of Bene was coordinated with the curriculum of geography and included in it. Appropriate teaching methods were found and materials for teaching the geography of the district of Bene were made.
