Skaista ezera ģeoloģiskā attīstība

Abstract

Krūmiņš J., „Skaista ezera ģeoloģiskā attīstība”. Bakalaura darbs, Rīga, Latvijas Universitāte, Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultāte, 2009. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot ticamākos Cenas tīreļa lielākās ūdenstilpes Skaista ezera veidošanās apstākļus, jo līdz šim veiktie pētījumi nav devuši uz to pārliecinošu atbildi. Neskatoties uz to, Skaista ezers ticis uzskatīts par purva ezeru, kas veidojies plīstot kūdras slāņiem. Autora lauka pētījumu, nogulumu sastāva un sporu-putekšņu analīzes rezultāti ļauj spriest, ka šis ezers tomēr nav veidojies plīstot kūdras slāņiem, bet gan tas visticamāk šeit ir bijis jau pirms Cenas tīreļa, kas sācis veidoties tikai atlantiskajā laikā. Visdrīzāk tas ir Baltijas ledus ezera paliksnis, kura pieguļošā teritorija pārpurvojusies. Darbs satur 72 lapaspuses, 70 attēlus un 4 tabulas. Krūmiņš J., “Geological development of Skaists Lake”. Bachelor’s Work, Riga, University of Latvia, Faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, 2009. The aim of investigation was to found out the origin and formation conditions of the largest Cena Mire waterbody. In previous studies regarding to Skaists Lake development was not enough certain answer on this question. The origin of this waterbody was considered as bog lake, which formed from breakage of peat layers. The results of this study show that this lake is not bog formation. This waterbody probably has been placed on current position some time before Cena mire had raised. This waterbody probably had some links with Baltic Ice Lake, and Skaists Lake could be relic of Baltic Ice Lake. The Work consists of 72 pages, 70 images and 4 tabs.
