| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | In the given work Ogre and Stipinai formations were investigated in downstream of rivers Imula and Amula in order to reconstruct sedimentary environment in the given territory. Simultaneously a comparison is made with previous researches that are made in Baltic and North-West of Russia, it is attempted to correlate the outcrop of the Ogre Formation at Amula and Imula rivers according to depositional structure and fish remains. For clarification of sedimentary environment cuts were made from dolomite and dolomitic marlstone examples that are gathered from the mentioned places but for sandstones from the mentioned outcrop a grain size analysis was made for clarification of hydrodinamynamics conditions. Further a great part of the work is dedicated to microfossil research from the same outcrops using the optical and electron microscope, as well as to macrofossils that allowed reconstructing the fauna in general, as well as allowed to help to reconstruct the fauna in general, as well as helped to reconstruct the physical and geographical conditions. In course of the research the depositional environment was clarified at Ogre times in Abava middle reaches that approves the previous researches and supplements the total development scene of the Main Devonian field but in the result of micropaleontologic research previously unknown fish remains were found that allows to regard Ogre Formation in the given territory as perspective for paleontological researches. | en_US |
