Autentisko materiālu lietojums mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Autentisko materiālu lietojums mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās”. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām. Tā mērķis ir analizēt vispārlietojamas un specializētas angļu valodas mācību grāmatu ‘Inside Out’ un ‘English for Banking in Higher Education Studies’ uzbūvi, salīdzināt tajās esošo autentisko materiālu lietojuma koeficientu, kā arī izzināt tā nozīmi vispārējā svešvalodas prasmju līmeņa attīstībā. Autentisko materiālu lietojuma analīzei mūsdienu angļu valodas mācību grāmatās izmantota kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze. Kopumā tika analizētas divdesmit sešas vispārlietojamas un specializētas angļu valodas mācību grāmatu ‘Inside Out’ un ‘English for Banking in Higher Education Studies’ nodaļas, un pētījuma laikā iegūtie dati tika sakārtoti divdesmit astoņās tabulās, kas iekļautas bakalaura darba pielikumā. Atslēgas vārdi: svešvaloda, specializēta angļu valoda, mācību grāmata, autentiski materiāli, kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze.

The theme of the bachelor thesis is ‘Authentic Materials in Modern English Course Books’. The paper consists of three chapters. Its goal is to analyse the structure of EFL and ESP course books ‘Inside Out’ and ‘English for Banking in Higher Education Studies’, to compare the ratio of authentic materials used there as well as to emphasize their function in the development of the foreign language learner’s proficiency level. Quantitative and qualitative content analysis is performed to implement the research of the bachelor thesis. Overall, twenty-six units of both EFL and ESP course books ‘Inside Out’ and ‘English for Banking in Higher Education Studies’ are analysed, and the obtained data is aggregated in twenty-eight tables presented in the Appendices.
