Maģistra darba mērķis ir analizēt nozīmīgākās problēmas autora veiktā Ģertrūdes Stainas romāna Alises Toklasas autobiogrāfija tulkojumā un pamatot, kādi apsvērumi noteikuši tulkotāja izvēli konkrētās tulkošanas situācijās.
Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām, secinājumiem, tēzēm un izmantotās literatūras un avotu saraksta.
