Kopsavilkums

Tāpat kā visā pasaulē, dzirdes nerva neirinoma ir sastopama arī Latvijā. Tā sastāda 80% procentus starp visiem ponscerebrāla leņķa audzējiem un 10-12% starp visiem galvas smadzeņu audzējiem. Šīs audzējs attīstās vienam cilvēkam uz 100 000 iedzīvotāju. Šī patoloģija pārsvarā skar pacientus 50 – 60 gadu vecumā, pie tam sievietes cieš biežāk kā vīriešiem. Dzirdes nerva neirinomai ir raksturīga lēna augšana. Pētījuma mērķis ir izanalizēt dzirdes nerva neirinomas saslimstības tendences Latvijā un izvērtēt tās biežāko veidu un raksturīgo simptomātiku. Šajā retrospektīvajā pētījumā tika izvērtēti dati slimības vēsturēs par 182 pacientiem ar dzirdes nerva neirinomas diagnozi, kuri tika novēroti, daži arī operēti Rīgas Austrumu klīniskās universitātes slimnīcā un Paula Stradiņa klīniskas universitātes slimnīcā laika posmā no 2000. gada janvāra līdz 2010. gada decembrim. Šīs abas slimnīcas tika izvēlētas, jo tajās ir spēcīgas neiroķirurģiskās klīnikas un tajās visbiežāk arī tiek operētas neirinomas, līdz ar to domājams, ka ietver lielāko daļu operēto pacientu no visas Latvijas. Veiktais pētījums parādīja, ka saslimstībai ar dzirdes nerva neirinomu ir tendence pakāpeniski palielināties. Vislielākā saslimstība gan vīriešiem, gan sievietēm novērojama 55 – 59 gadu vecuma grupā. Vidējais neirinomas saslimstības vecums ir 52 gadi. Sievietēm dzirdes nerva neirinoma sastopama 31% biežāk nekā vīriešiem, sastādot attiecību 3: 1. Visbiežākā neirinomas lokalizācija ir labajā pusē. Sievietēm neirinomas visbiežākais veids ir labas puses neirinoma (40%); Visbiežākie neirinomas simptomi ir dzirdes pasliktināšanas un galvas reiboņi. Latvijā biežāk tiek izmantota mikroķirurģiska terapija ar subokcipitālu (SO) pieeju.
