Vientuļās mātes kā preventīvā sociālā darba mērķa grupa

Abstract

Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt vientuļās mātes kā preventīvā sociālā darba mērķa grupu. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, autore izvirzīja sekojošus uzdevumus: 1) teorētiski apskatīt vientuļās mātes un viena vecāka ģimenes jēdzienu un raksturojumu, 2) teorētiski izanalizēt prevenciju kā sociālā darba virzienu ar vientuļajām mātēm, 3) ar empīriska pētījuma palīdzību noskaidrot vientuļo māšu ģimeņu sociālo funkcionēšanu apdraudošos riska faktorus un preventīvā sociālā darba lomu un iespējamo ieguldījumu viņu sociālā atbalsta tīklojuma pilnveidošanā, 4) izstrādāt ieteikumus uz šo mērķa grupu vērstas agrīnās intervences programmas izveidei. Diplomdarba struktūru veido trīs nodaļas. Pirmajā nodaļā autore analizē vientuļās mātes un viena vecāka ģimenes jēdzienus un to raksturojumus, koncentrējoties uz tādiem tās aspektiem kā ģimenes struktūras ietekme uz bērna attīstību ģimenē, vientuļās mātes spēju kvalitatīvi realizēt vecāka lomu ietekmējošie faktori, kā arī vientuļo māšu ģimeņu sociālās funkcionēšanas aizsargfaktori. Diplomdarba otrajā nodaļā autore apskata prevenciju kā sociālā darba virzienu ar vientuļajām mātēm. Šajā nodaļā autore pēta prevencijas jēdziena raksturojumu un mērķi vientuļo māšu kā sociālā darba mērķa grupas kontekstā, un, balstoties uz izvirzīto mērķi, analizē tādus preventīvā darba virzienus kā uz sociālā atbalsta veicināšanu vērsto preventīvo intervenci un agrīnās intervences programmas. Diplomdarba trešo nodaļu veido autores veiktais kvalitatīvi orientētais pētījums par preventīvā sociālā darba lomu vientuļo māšu sociālā atbalsta sistēmas pilnveidošanā. Balstoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem autore izstrādā ieteikumus uz vientuļajām mātēm un viņu ģimenēm vērstas agrīnās intervences programmas izveidei.

The aim of this graduation work is to explore single mothers as a target group of preventive social work. The authoress of graduation work set four tasks to realize this aim: 1) to consider concepts of single mother and single parent family and their characterization, 2) to analyse the prevention as a direction of social work practice with single mothers, 3) to clarify those risk factors which threatens social functioning of single mother families and the role of preventive social work in the improvement of their social support network, 4) to formulate recommendations for the development of early intervention program for single mothers target group. The structure of this graduation work consists of tree chapters. In the first chapter of graduation work authoress analyses concepts of single mother and single parent family and their characterization. The main themes there are the influence of family structure on development of a child in single mother family, factors which influence single mother capacity of parenting, protective factors of positive social functioning of single mother family as a micro system. In second chapter of this graduation work authoress considers prevention as a direction of social work practice with single mothers. In this chapter authoress focuses on concept of prevention and the aim of preventive social work practice with single mothers, analyses such directions of preventive social work as social support intervention and early intervention programs. The third chapter of this graduation work consists of qualitative empirical research on the role of preventive social work in the improvement of social support network of single mothers. As a result of this research authoress offers suggestions for implementation of early intervention program for single mothers.
