Abstract

Diplomdarba tēma ir „Sociālo pakalpojumu piedāvājums Rīgas pašvaldībā veciem cilvēkiem ar demenci”. Darba mērķis ir teorētiski analizēt un empīriski pētīt sociālo pakalpojumu piedāvājumu Rīgas pašvaldībā veciem cilvēkiem ar demenci un šo pakalpojumu atbilstību viņu vajadzībām. Diplomdarbs sastāv no trijām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā no teorētiskā viedokļa tiek izvērtēts vecu cilvēku ar demenci raksturojums. Otrajā nodaļā autore apraksta gerontoloģiskā sociālā darba specifiku no teorētiskā viedokļa. Trešajā nodaļā tiek analizēts pētījums par sociālo pakalpojumu piedāvājumu Rīgas pašvaldībā veciem cilvēkiem ar demenci. Diplomdarba beigās tiek aprakstīti pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti un secinājumi. Veicot pētījuma analīzi, autore nonāk pie secinājuma, ka pētījumā izvirzītais mērķis apstiprinās. Sociālo pakalpojumu piedāvājums Rīgas pašvaldībā atbilst vecu cilvēku ar demenci vajadzībām. Pētījumā iekļautās iestādes piedāvā veciem cilvēkiem ar demenci sociālos pakalpojumus, kas nodrošina klientu fizioloģiskās vajadzības, vajadzību pēc drošības un sociālās vajadzības. The subject of diploma paper is „An Offer of Social Services for Old People with Dementia in Self-government of the City of Riga” The aim of the work is to analyse theoretically and to clarify empirically an offer of social services in the self-government of the city of Riga for old people with dementia and the conformity of these services to their needs. The diploma paper consists of three chapters. The first one gives a characterization of old people with dementia from a theoretical point of view. In the second chapter an author describes a specific of gerontological social work from theoretical position. The researches of the offer of social services to old people with dementia in the self-government of the city of Riga are analysed in the third chapter At the conclusion of the diploma paper the results and conclusions obtained during the investigations are described. Accomplishing the analysis of investigations the author comes to a conclusion that the stipulated aim is corroborated. The offer of the social services at the self-government of the city of Riga answers to the needs of old people with dementia. The institutions incorporated in the investigation offer the old people with dementia to social services that provide the clients with physiological needs of the clients, as well as their security and social wants.
