Baltijas jūras reģiona ilgtspējīgas attīstības nākotnes perspektīvas

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir- Baltijas jūras reģiona ilgtspējīgas attīstības nākotnes perspektīvas. Par bakalaura darba mērķi tika izvirzīts noskaidrot, kuri ilgtspējīgas attīstības koncepta kritēriji darbojas Baltijas jūras reģionā un kā tie ietekmē reģiona attīstību nākotnē. Mērķa sasniegšanai par darba hipotēzi tikai izvirzīts pieņēmums: neraugoties uz Baltijas jūras reģionā esošo valstu daudzveidību, tā nekavē reģiona ilgtspējīgu attīstību. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi un pierādītu hipotēzi autore noteica darba uzdevumus: •Apzināt dažādu autoru ilgtspējīgas attīstības definīcijas; •Apzināt ilgtspējīgas attīstības indikatoru nozīmi; •Darba empīriskajā analīzē izvērtēt izvēlēto valstu- Latvijas, Zviedrijas, Krievijas ilgtspējīgas sabiedrības attīstības tendences; •Novērtēt izvēlēto valstu ekonomiskās attīstības tendences; •Novērtēt pēdējo no ilgtspējīgas attīstības asīm- vidi, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot Baltijas jūras piesārņojumam; •Izdarīt secinājumus par ilgtspējīgas attīstības procesiem Baltijas jūras reģionā un iespējamajām nākotnes perspektīvām. Visi darbā izvirzītie uzdevumi tika izpildīti un sasniegts sekojoši rezultāti: izvirzītā hipotēze tika pierādīta un balstoties uz izvirzītajiem uzdevumiem izriet secinājums, ka neskatoties uz to, ka Baltijas jūras reģions ir daudzveidīgs, tas ir uzskatāms par ilgtspējīgu reģionu un no trīs izvēlētajām valstīm Zviedrijai ir vislielākais potenciāls ilgtspējīgā attīstībā, Latvija ir ilgtspējīgas attīstības sākumposmā, savukārt Krievijai ir vispieticīgākās izredzes tuvākajā laikā kļūt par ilgtspējīgu valsti.

The name of the thesis is Baltic Sea region sustainability perspectives in the future. The main aim of this thesis is to find out which sustainability development criteria are valid in the Baltic Sea region and what kind of impact they have on the future development of the region. To achieve the set aim a hypothesis was established- the diversity of the Baltic Sea region countries does not forfeit the future of sustainable development of the region. In order to achieve the set aim and to prove the hypothesis consequent tasks were set: •Acquaintance with the different definitions of sustainable development; •Acquaintance with the role of sustainable development indicators; •Through empirical studies weight all the chosen countries- Latvia, Sweden, Russia- sustainable society development tendencies; •Weight the economic development tendencies in the chosen countries; •Weight the environmental axis of the sustainability taking essentially into account Baltic Sea pollution; •To conclude the sustainability development processes in the Baltic Sea region and the possible future perspectives. All tasks set in the theses were fulfilled and the consequent conclusions were made: the thesis was proven, and grounding on the tasks set one can conclude that disregarding the differences amongst the countries in the Baltic Sea region, the sustainable development perspectives are possible. Amongst the countries chosen, Sweden is the most sustainable, then Latvia follows with fainter but in medium term definitive power to be sustainable, and Russia has the most modest chances of becoming sustainable in near future.
