Reliģiozitāte: starppaaudžu pēctecība

Abstract

Autore darbā, izmantojot kvalitatīvu un kvantitatīvu informāciju, mēģina rast atbildes uz jautājumiem par ģimenes lomu reliģisko uzskatu un izvēļu starppaaudžu pārmantojamību, kā arī sociālo un politisko pārmaiņu ietekmi uz tām. Darba mērķis ir izvērtēt ģimenes un sociālo pārmaiņu ietekmi uz Latvijas iedzīvotāju reliģiskajām izvēlēm trijās paaudzēs. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, autore izvirzīja sekojošus uzdevumus: Iepazīties ar iepriekš veiktiem pētījumiem par ģimenes lomu reliģisko uzskatu veidošanās procesā, apzināt tajos izmantotos rādītājus reliģiozitātes mērīšanai, kā arī literatūras avotos norādītos reliģiozitāti ietekmējošos faktorus sociālo un politisko pārmaiņu situācijā; Iepazīties ar iepriekš veiktiem pētījumiem par ģimenes lomu reliģisko uzskatu veidošanās procesā, apzināt tajos izmantotos rādītājus reliģiozitātes mērīšanai, kā arī literatūras avotos norādītos reliģiozitāti ietekmējošos faktorus sociālo un politisko pārmaiņu situācijā; analizēt ģimenes lomu reliģisko uzskatu veidošanās procesā, izmantojot kvantitatīvo (International Social Survey Program (ISSP) datus) un kvalitatīvo (intervijas) informāciju; analizēt sociālo pārmaiņu ietekmi uz reliģiskajām izvēlēm, izmantojot starpvalstu salīdzinājumu Darba sākumā autore izvirzīja divas hipotēzes, kuras darba gaitā ir apstiprinājušās: 1. Ģimenes loma reliģisko uzskatu veidošanās procesā ir nozīmīga, taču tai nav ilglaicīgi paliekoša efekta. 2. Starppaaudžu reliģisko pārmantojamību būtiski ietekmē sociālpolitiskās pārmaiņas.

The author was interested in the way how the families are influenced by the process of passing on the traditions and the religious opinions in the society, particularly sudden social and political changes in the country. It was interesting to deal especially with the situation in Latvia through the point of view of three generations, considering the differences of the religious indicators of the three generations. The objective of the paper is to evaluate the influence of the family and social changes upon the religious choices of three generations of the inhabitants of Latvia. To achieve the goal the author has set the following tasks: To get acquainted with the previous researches on the role of family in the process of forming the religious opinion, to gather the indicators for measuring the religiosity mentioned in the previous researches as well as to study the factors given in the literature sources that influence the religiosity in the situations of social and political changes; to analyze the role of the family in the process of forming the religious opinions by using the quantitative (International Social Survey Program (ISSP) datus) and the qualitative (interviews) information; to analyze the influence of the social changes on the religious choices, using the cross-border comparison. In the beginning of the paper the author set two hypotheses that have been verified: 1. The role of the family in the process of religious opinions’ formation is significant, but it does not have long-term lasting effect. 2. Intergenerational religious inheritance is substantially influenced by the sociopolitical changes.
